WINDSOR HOUSE
Windsor House is a large home located in Beverly Hills California. It is designed to provide an eclectic luxury for the homeowners. This residence includes everything one would need to live, work, and play. It is divided into 3 stories, each one providing a different purpose. The main level being functionality featuring the essentials, upstairs is tranquility which provides a library and multiple bedrooms, and the walk-out basement portrays celebration and gathering.
The exterior of Windsor House features stone cladding, Roman column influences, classical balusters and trim work, and touches of modern influences.
The back of the Windsor House reveals the 3 stories with outdoor living space on all levels and the walk-out basement to the large pool. The guest house serves as a pool house with lounge space and pool storage down below, with the guest suite on the second level.
The foyer was designed to feel like a grand entrance while still feeling connected to the rest of the home. The bold stair runner introduces color and pattern that will be seen throughout the home.
The dining space is what connects the kitchen and the living room. A mixture of several different design styles are used to create a unique space that still feels cohesive.
The design intent for the kitchen was to create a very classy look while mixing a few different design styles. The goal for this space was to be very light and airy without alluding to the standard all-white kitchen.
Being the main lounge space of the home, plenty of seating is provided in the living room. Color is brought in through the upholstery to connect to the colors in the adjacent spaces, and the marble on the fireplace brings in warmth to balance the space.
The design of the sunroom is kept very light and neutral to provide an elegant and relaxing feel.

SOLACE COMMUNITY CENTER
Solace is a community center intended to be a beautiful, welcoming, safe place for kids to young adults struggling with any type of mental health issues. Sticking to a very neutral and comforting color palette, Solace is a welcoming place where everyone feels comfortable and can talk to therapists, get help that they need, simply just have quiet time, do school work, or talk to others in similar situations. A place where nobody feels alone and everybody feels safe and heard.
The floor plan includes a very hospitable, comforting layout. Right off the entry is the living space to lounge, converse, and watch tv. We then have a large dining table off the kitchen where people can eat, play games, and do work. Additional entrances/exits are placed in the therapy rooms for easy access and privacy through the outside. Several ADA-compliant restrooms are included, exam rooms, conference rooms, as well as additional seating and workstations.
The goal for the design of the living space was to create a very comfortable area that feels like home. A space to relax while talking to others and/or watching tv. Very warm and neutral colors are used throughout to contribute to the overall calming atmosphere and as a caution to all types of people using the space.
When designing the interiors, especially the restrooms and kitchen, safety was the biggest concern. The design is pretty minimal to accommodate for safety issues. Sharp edges and hardware are eliminated, making these areas as safe as possible.
The design intent for the therapy rooms was to feel very comfortable and not like an interrogation room. These rooms include sofas and armchairs as well as the therapist’s desk (not seen in the view of this rendering) so the room can be rearranged and the client can sit however is most comfortable for them. A neutral grasscloth wallcovering is used to bring in warmth and texture.
