ROSEWOOD ESTATE
Rosewood Estate is a Victorian-style home located on the hilltops of Bountiful, Utah. This home was inspired by the elegance and charm of Victorian homes. Historical precedence was done to take aspects of Victorian homes that have been lost and bring them back to life in a modern home.
Rosewood was heavily inspired by Queen Anne Victorian-style homes. It features a large tower, many large windows, and is highly decorative.
The grand entryway shows off a spiral staircase, sconces that guide you up the stairs, and a gorgeous wall covering. The in-laid tile helps create a focal point at the center of the staircase.
The living room is an intimate space that features deep, dramatic colors, and lowered ceilings for conversation.
Victorian kitchens were often small and not meant to be seen. This kitchen is a modern take on the Victorian kitchen. It was common to have decorative tile in the kitchen, which is why this kitchen uses unique tiled flooring. A modern color scheme is used combined with Victorian pastels. Unlike historical Victorian kitchens, this one is meant to be seen.
The kitchen has a variety of base cabinets, overhead cabinets, and floating shelves to provide flexibility within the kitchen. A French style range adds a pop of color to the space.
The breakfast nook features bay window seating, a floral wallcovering, and a beautiful Queen Anne table set.
