INTERIOR DESIGN STUDENT ASSOCIATIONThe Interior Design Student Association (IDSA) is an overarching organization for students at Utah State University involved with The International Interior Design Association (IIDA), The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). They value connecting with students and design professionals across the country and these professional organizations allow its members to participate in local and national events. Through this, they have created a network for Utah State Design students to be a part of once they graduate. As an association, they strive to make a positive impact not only at Utah State University but also in their local communities.
IDSA encourages its members to embrace challenges, develop their skills, and give back to others. Their mission is to organize opportunities for students in the IAD program to excel socially and educationally. This is done through promoting the values of learning, friendship, inclusion, service, sustainability, mentorship, and community. IDSA is more than just an organization of passionate design students, it is a group of highly motivated individuals determined to create a better and more beautiful world for others. |
